I have always had a thing for skirts. After watching three series of suits and watching the paralegal Rachel carrying pencil skirts so well, the impulsive shopper in me forced me to jump into the pool of sale happening on Jabong.com

Rachel Zane from Suits
Not just Hollywood stars Indian celebs have carries pencil skirts really well.

Crop top look amazing when paired with pencil skirts. You can read about such earrings in my previous blog here

I totally love this Aashiqui girl in a tangrine skirt which she gracefully carried during a promotional event.

Inspired by these divas and after a lot of research, additions and subtractions (heartbrake) from the cart, I found a perfect pencil skirt for me.

But online shopping comes with a big list questions- Will it be exactly the same it looks in picture? Will this look good on me? What size should I buy? How will be the stuff of the garment?

Like everyone even I did this intraperson communication. And found the answers within the brand- Dorothy Perkins- a brand I have trusted for so long. For my body type, I knew this will look good on me. ( girls with belly fat, please avoid from pencil skirts specially stretchable ones made with polyster)

These skirts became my saving grace for a lot of formal evenings.

Tip: While shopping for skirts online, pick a two size small skirt. For eg: I usually pick 28 waist size jeans, but for a skirt I chose 24 size.

I paired it up with a plain black top and a waist belt.

XOXO,
Krity
