Gauri Khan turns 45 today and is probably the luckiest celeb wife on planet.
Gauri Chhibber met a young guy who went by the name Shah
Rukh Khan in 1984, and married him on 25 October 1991.That young guy is now known to the world as King Khan.
The couple have two sons and
a daughter: Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. Theirs is a
love story that has impressed, intrigued, and perhaps even inspired everyone.

After much opposition from the family the two managed to get their relationship accepted and are now heading to their Silver year Anniversary celebrations soon.

The Gauri-Shahrukh duo has come a long way, and on her birthday, we wish there are many more exciting moments ahead!

This photo of Gauri holding the hand of little AbRam is a
real treat for the eyes! While AbRam looks super cute, Gauri manages to
effortlessly blend in the frivolity of a mother with sophisticated elegance.

I have always had a thing for skirts. After watching three series of suits and watching the paralegal Rachel carrying pencil skirts so well, the impulsive shopper in me forced me to jump into the pool of sale happening on Jabong.com

Not just Hollywood stars Indian celebs have carries pencil skirts really well.

Crop top look amazing when paired with pencil skirts. You can read about such earrings in my previous blog here

I totally love this Aashiqui girl in a tangrine skirt which she gracefully carried during a promotional event.

Inspired by these divas and after a lot of research, additions and subtractions (heartbrake) from the cart, I found a perfect pencil skirt for me.
But online shopping comes with a big list questions- Will it be exactly the same it looks in picture? Will this look good on me? What size should I buy? How will be the stuff of the garment?
Like everyone even I did this intraperson communication. And found the answers within the brand- Dorothy Perkins- a brand I have trusted for so long. For my body type, I knew this will look good on me. ( girls with belly fat, please avoid from pencil skirts specially stretchable ones made with polyster)
These skirts became my saving grace for a lot of formal evenings.
Tip: While shopping for skirts online, pick a two size small skirt. For eg: I usually pick 28 waist size jeans, but for a skirt I chose 24 size.
I paired it up with a plain black top and a waist belt.

Last week has been really exciting at work. Everyone is busy shopping- searching online, visiting different markets, some even visited designers to find that one perfect dress that matches the theme of the biggest occasion of the year at work- The annual award night- ACE Awards 2015.
And why not, after all the theme is such. The organizing committee decided that this time everyone has to get dressed in the Game of Thrones attires.
Sounds interesting huh? But trust me, it was not easy.
After drooling over hundreds of look books online I finally decided to create my own look with inspiration from all of them.
Here's how I dressed, let me which character I look like?
Dress: Steal Noida, Centre Stage Mall
Watch- Esprit
Tiara- Koovs
Jewelry- Lajpat Nagar, Delhi
Lipstick- Color Bar
Nail paint- Lakme
Do write to me in the comments below if you liked the look.
Share your theme party pictures with me and I will publish your pictures on the blog or let me know if you want me to give you some easy and quick styling tips for such theme parties.
